Butterfield executives nominated for multiple global awards

St. Peter Port, Guernsey: Jim Parker, Country Head, Butterfield Trust (Switzerland) and Paul Hodgson, Managing Director at Butterfield Trust (Guernsey) have been recognised by Legal Week in the ‘Global Elite Recommends’ segments of their Private Client Global Elite Directory 2019.

Launched in 2017, the Private Client Global Elite Directory is a handbook of the world’s leading private client lawyers, trust and estate litigators and individual service providers.

A successful submission is dependent on the amount of recommendations received from the global community within Global Elite’s survey results. It’s also based on the individual’s international network, including the breadth of jurisdictions they are qualified in and those jurisdictions in which they participate in cross-border work, as well as their level of experience, ability, effectiveness and client service. The list is then finalised and verified by ALM’s global editorial teams.

Jim Parker, Country Head, Butterfield Trust (Switzerland), said: “I’m delighted to have been listed on Legal Week’s Private Client Global Elite Directory 2019. At Butterfield, we appreciate the importance of building deep relationships with our clients and their advisors. It is an honour to be recognised by my peers to feature on this prestigious list.”

As well as being listed by Legal Week, Paul Hodgson has also been nominated as Trustee of the Year in the Citywealth International Financial Centre (IFC) Awards.

The Citywealth IFC Awards highlight the excellence of advisers and managers in the private wealth sector in the major international finance centres. The awards are judged by an international panel of respected practitioners from a range of sectors.

Paul Hodgson, Managing Director, Butterfield Trust (Guernsey), said: “I am thrilled to be listed on Legal Week’s Private Client Global Elite Directory 2019 along with my colleague Jim. To receive this recognition, as well as being nominated as Trustee of the Year in the Citywealth IFC Awards is stasifying personally but reflects the focus that Butterfield places on developing its offering and these accolades are a testament to the strength and expertise of our global team.”
